Kurt Anderson, right, of Beverly, along with his wife Kelly formed Ready to React to promote CPR education and to raise money to make more defibrillators available. He’s with Kimberley Ballad, The Cabot’s director of philanthropy and community relations, and a defibrillator recently installed at the theater in downtown Beverly. Anderson’s son, Daniel, was saved by the use of CPR and a defibrillator in 2019 after experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
